Hi Lorraine here, I am a qualified Naturopathic Nutritionist, Medicinal Food Chef, Yoga teacher, with a special focus of Yoga for Mental Health, creator of the 8 Week Reconnect to your Digestion Program (soon to come online) and TIME TO THRIVE mindful Nutrition program. Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients from working with people on a one-to-one level to cooking for corporate events, providing workshops and seminars for local communities, businesses & health enthusiasts.

Having studied Yoga, intuitive cooking and Naturopathic Nutrition I am extremely passionate about connecting the body and mind, “one cannot think well, if one has not dined well” (Virginia Wolfe). We are emotional, physical and spiritual brings who long to feel connected, feel strong emotionally and physically and feel healthy. When “disease” shows up, it can be triggered for a number of reasons and not always because of something you ate or didn’t eat. We are often not “at ease” in our lives, not living from our truth and so rely on foods for quick fuel and often forget about nourishing ourselves. We lack positive routines so exercise, self-care, meditation, breath-work, stretching have lost their importance in our culture. “out of sight, out of mind”. We are focused on survival where work, busy schedules and “doing” are top of our priority list. We have lost direction through this disconnection, often looking for it in places like money, power and promotion. Let’s change direction, let’s focus on just you, your body, your mind and your spirit and create a positive lifestyle that feeds you!

Having experienced ups and downs in the rollercoaster of my own health, I have always been fascinated by the potential of our bodies, the innate desire we have to reset and to strive for health. Wellness is something we should all experience and while it can sometimes feel far away it is possible! We just have to re-educate ourselves, reconnect with our bodies, open our minds and understand how one influences the other. This is where I come in! Wellness is not perfectionism; it is reconnecting to the “being” part of your human being.

I am excited to be working with you to help you achieve your ultimate goal of wellness. I love working with people to help them reconnect with bodies and feel amazing by changing the way they eat, learning to tune into their own bodies, to develop positive routines and to discover the fun and creative world of cooking for your health. I understand what it feels like to be unsatisfied with your own health and feel uncomfortable in your own skin as well as how challenging and overwhelming it can all feel, especially if you are feeling tired, unmotivated and overwhelmed. But when there is will…. There is a way!
